Drew Barrymore Autobiography "Little Girl Lost"
This Autobiography will give me insight into Drew Barrymore’s life from a young age as she discusses early films such as E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982) and how fame affected her life in a destructive way, as she became addicted to drink and drugs. Tainting the sweet and innocent public image that she had built for herself over the years, this inevitably sent her career down a different path as she tried to reinstate herself into the film industry as a serious actor.
'Star as Deviant' suggests an explanation for the downfall of her career as her personal life took over and damaged the studio's reputation.
